Mack B. Sasser III
As a child, Mack and his father, a retired 4 Tour Vietnam Special Forces Veteran and oil field Engineer, traveled around the world. Mack lived throughout the United States and internationally in Ecuador and Peru, where he learned to speak Spanish fluently. Upon settling in Oklahoma, he joined the Army National Guard. Throughout his career, he has held several positions such as Mortar Section Leader, Mortar Platoon Sergeant, Mobilized Infantry Section Leader, Infantry Squad Leader, Battalion Operations NCO- CMD Cell and BN S-9. Mack is currently a U.S. Army Instructor for the 124ht IO BN VTARNG.
During his 20+ year career Mack served two combat deployments. His first tour was in Iraq where he performed a Special Operations mission in Counterintelligence, as Intelligence/Reconnaissance NCO and Operational Security Team Chief for an intelligence agency. During Mack’s second tour he served as the Battalion S-9 in charge of Civil Intelligence and Civil Reconnaissance, was a key contributor to counter-insurgency efforts and received a Bronze Star for his achievements.
Mack received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Oklahoma and immediately began his career in the financial arena structuring financial transactions as a Real Estate Investment Banker. With an entrepreneurial spirit, Mack also created several businesses that catered to the Federal Government as a Service-Disable Veteran Owned Business. Upon his return from Afghanistan and subsequent move to Florida, Mack chose to combine his love of the military, green energy and finance by co-creating RWH Energy as Chief Business Development Officer.
Since 2012, as a green energy business developer, Mack has become an expert at: identifying his clients' energy needs; providing the best suited contracting vehicle; coordinating energy finance solutions; communicating the best possible energy conservation measures; synchronizing the energy team and seamlessly transitioning projects into implementation. Throughout Mack's green energy career, he and his team have been selected to perform more than $40M in energy projects for both the federal government and private clients.
